Order Of Lenin Awarded To Soviet Soldier During The Russian Revolution
This Order of Lenin was awarded to a Russian soldier named Mikolai Mikhailovich Ostashchenko for fighting "against the enemies of the Supreme Soviet, Timchasovo Region in 1917, and againt the Central Rada (Council) in 1918. The Central Rada was the Ukrainian Nationalist Council which existed only for a short time during the revolution, advocating separation from Russia.
