Hand-written draft of a letter sent to Lord Gowrie in 1942. MacArthur had a close relationship during WWII with Lord Gowrie, Governor-General of Australia. The General states that he will be sending his personal aide to Canberra to make arrangements for MacArthur's address to the Australian Parliament. Purchased from the Estate of the late General LeGrande Diller.
