Bronze Statue of General Douglas MacArthur by Sculptor Robert Dean
This rare unique bronze statue, measuring 24 inches in height, portrays General Douglas MacArthur, depicted here in a defiant pose. This bronze was sculpted by Robert Lee Dean, a soldier turned artist. Its a smaller model of the large 14 foot statue that resides at MacArthur's alma mater, the Texas Military Academy in San Antonio, Texas. Its a hollow-cast bronze with a beautiful patina. Robert Lee Dean signed his name on the side of the base. Dean also produced the larger-than-life statue of General Dwight D. Eisenhower which stands in front of the Eisenhower Presidential Library In Abilene, Kansas.
