This rare inscribed photograph depicts a celebratory FDR locking arms with his oldest son, James, and clasping the hand of his Vice-President, John Nance Garner, at a Democratic Party Jackson-Jefferson Day Dinner, as Postmaster-General James A. Farley smiles and waves. FDR has inscribed the photograph to photographer Jack Wilson, "For Jack Wilson from his friend Franklin D. Roosevelt."
